Brighton Heat FC is a club established as a team in 2020 and before our second anniversary we have already lifted 2 trophies. This is just the beginning of our winning trajectory in Australian lands.
TROPHIES
TONY MOTT SHIELD 2020
The Tony Mott Shield was earned after a trilling final against Surry Hills FC, who also played the debut. The match result in the 90 minutes was a 4 x 4 draw that remained tied in 1 x 1 on the Extra Time, with goals scored by Icaro Chicarelli, Bruno Amaral, Kecy Diones and Renan Candura twice, who was elected the Final MVP. The tie led to a penalty shot-out and the goalkeeper Romulo Lopes shined securing a block and scoring as well, Romulo was elected the Team Player of the Year and League Goalkeeper of the Year, Icaro Chicarelli, Maicon Santos and Rogerio Turelly also scored in the penalty shot-out.
ANSC CHALLENGE CUP 2021

The Australian National Sports Club Challenge Cup was an exciting tournament played in the Summer of 2021. It was Brighton Heat second trophy in the second year of existence.

This competition is shaped like a World Cup, we played 6 matches winning the trophy undefeated and conceding only one goal.
In the group stage we faced Sierra Leone drawing by 1 x 1 with a goal scored by Maicon Santos, won Indonesia by 1 x 0 with a goal scored by Sergio Rojas, won Lebanon with goals of Kecy Diones, Renan Candura, Maicon Santos and Rafael Hess.

The knock-out stage was a bit more challenging as the best teams were playing each other match after match. We faced Australia for the quarterfinals winning by 1 x 0 with a killer free-kick from Renan Candura at the end of the match. In the semifinals we won 1 x 0 against Afghanistan, who defeated our other squad that represented Colombia, the winning goal was scored by Sergio Rojas. The Grand Final was another really tough match against Sierra Leone and we won by 1 x 0 after a brilliant header by Sergio Rojas.
